Intel Launches 8-Core Itanium Processor Latest


CALIFORNIA - Intel processor manufacturer giant based in California USA recently announced a new processor, the Itanium 9500 series. Tools for computer brain that is devoted to this enterprise has a high level of processing power to support 8-core.

Reported Overclockersclub, Friday (11/09/2012), Intel introduced the Itanium processor 9500 which claimed the most powerful Intel output for data center computing. With new chip that contains 3.1 billion transistors, the kitchen runway is capable of handling the most CPU-based server powerful.

Intel brings eight cores instead of four cores. Itanium 9500 comes with 54 MB of on-die cache memory and up to 2TB of RAM low voltage (low-voltage).

Intel Itanium 9500 revealed that 2.4-fold faster than the generation Intel Tukwila processors. This processor is also capable of handling heavy data workloads such as business analytics, databases and enterprise resource planning applications.

New frequency will range from 1.73 GHz to 2.53 GHz. In addition, the thermal design power (TDP) from 130-170 watts. Intel Itanium 9500 series are available at this time (number of 1000 units) and priced from USD1.350 to USD4.650 price.
